hey gang,

now that i have a 2nd computer, i was thinking about formatting my arcade pc because i've been using that to surf the net, download things, and so on. i'm thinking formatting it and re-installing my emulators/roms and using it once and for all soley for an arcade, it'd run a lot better than it does now. this is my question though, if i were to back up my gameex folder to cd-r, do i have to re-register after i load it on my fresh hard drive?

if not is there something certain i should do before i wipe my HD clean?

As I stated in the other thread, you should definately re-register. I don't know Tom's personal take on this, but I'm pretty sure he would agree. Perhaps one could work out a deal for a seperate license for another PC. I have a laptop as well, and I use that to test and set up new features before they make it over to the arcade PC. As stated previously, I had anticipated this would be the case and I donated an extra $15 when I acquired the license to help recoup some of the cost.

Again, you'd probably want to email Tom and ask him personally.
