intro movie question

some themes have the intro movie folder with a movie file in them, some dont.. if i want to add an intro movie to a theme that doesnt have one, i noticed making a 'intro' folder and putting a movie in the folder does not work, is there something else you have to do to add an intro to a theme?

Hi Scurvy,

you can add a video using two methods.

1. Open the theme.ini and add the following:

StartupVideo=C:\Program Files\GameEx\THEMES\Default - Theme Name\Intro Movie

or you can select a movie, or a directory using the config application:

1.Open the GameEx Configuration window, select 'Multimedia/HTPC'

2.Now locate the 'Intro Movie' or video directory folder from the 'Startup Video/Dir'

3.Make sure that Yes is selected in the 'Videos/Movies' box.

Thats it Personally i prefer the first method, because the right movie will play for each theme.
