You have to configure ZSnes to exit on a keypress in the key config menu. It has no default. If -m command line, plus the ESC works, that's probably a better "out of box default".

The problem with ZSnes is that the default behavior of GameEx is to kill zsnes.exe, and that sometimes results in lost SRAM files. I lost hours of Zelda 3 play to that issue. :)

I stopped using the advanced config but GameEx still doesn't exit properly. I still get a dialog box saying "your video card drivers are not compatible...." along with a black screen. This happens with all emulators. I love GameEx and it would be perfect if not for this little flaw.

Theres really not much to do here as long as MCE loads eventually and the error clears after time. Is this happening, or are just stuck with the error?

GameEx just cant catch MCE loading in time if a game is running.

Unless its not working AT ALL really nothing that can be done with the current version of MCE.

Does it clear up, or is is not working at all?

The error does not clear up. it depends on the emulator, but i usually have to ALT + F4 to kill the emulator then exit GameEx. (this error wouldn't bother me at all, but some people don't understand when i tell them not to press the green button while playing a game... ) I did find a solution: I setup Girder to run a script killing all the emulators every time the green button is pressed. It kills them before media center launches, thus eliminating the error. My problem is solved. Thank you

Glad you find a solution. Although if you have time, would you mine doing a right up on how to do it that's easy for all users. I think this info would be great for others. I may even be able to build it into GameEx and make it seamless, or at least add it to the docs page.

Can you help please?
