Arcadevga settings in gameex?

I was wondering exactly what gameex does when you tell it that you are using the arcadevga. Does it set all the mame games to the proper resolution similar to what Benson's arcadevga resolution tool does?

Also I was curious if it caused gameex itself to run in a low non-interlaced res mode?

It does the same thing as Benson's util but just does it on the fly via the MAME cmd line. It only affects MAME. You can make Gameex run at 640 X288 or 640 X 264 by setting the resolution as such.
