OT - cant open regular folders by doubleclick?

hi guys. srry for this ot thing. its just a short question

i just installed windows vista theme (for xp) on my comp and was about to bling blinb my computer up a notch. was

switching out some icons too.

well i did something wit the that i cant open desktop folders by doubleclicking? if i doubleclick

on a folder on the desktop the computer asks me what program i should open the file with?

huh? its a folder? you dont open the folder with any program lol

so has anyoen encountered this problem in windows xp?

I haven't seen that in Vista or XP... I wonder if you didn't add an extension to the folder or changed the Opens With... under the Properties box when you were screwing around with your icons? Just a thought...

yeah i think i must have done something like that. there isnt any quick way to just undo what i did a couple hours ago?
