Recently Played Games Won't Go Away!!!!

Hey all,

I am having a problem with the Emulators section in GameEx. When I play a game, then go back to GameEx, the game that was recently played is located at the top of the list of the roms list. Now, is there an option to get rid of this feature? I have looked throughout the whole configuration section, and I cannot find an option to disable this. Am I missing something?

Actually you can disable it via the GameEx.ini file in the CONFIG directory. The info is buried somewhere in this forum...I'm trying to remember how to do it myself. The trick is to make a change to the ini file and then make it read-only so GameEx can't modify it...

Hey Tom - do you remember anything about this? I'm still searching to find the answer. I remember you had to clear the GameList or GameStats.ini files and then you had to remove a line from the GameEx.ini file so it wouldn't pull that info anymore

You should be able to disable this feature. I don't have it turned on on my cabinet as far as I can remember. Unless I'm wrong (which is likely), there is a setting in Enable/Disable Features about favorites.

On the last page of each emulator section is a setting that says SHOW LAST PLAYED. Set it to NO.
