Well vista is finally out. Did Tom get a copy!?! Couple of things I am wondering is if the next version of gameex will be tailored to look like the new vista theme or maybe even if there's going to be a vista and and xp version of it now? Anyways, if Tom doesn't have a copy of it yet, maybe we could setup a donations pool for him. :)

The same version should work for both. And for those of us that are developers, or just geeks, we've had vista betas and RC and have been testing for a while now. Since the .NET framework is (supposed) to be a universal API, it should allow programs to be portable from xp to vista assuming a few things. So, business as usual. Oh and if you are a cabinet builder or just an emu fan, I'd check out this before making the switch anytime soon...

Wait for the drivers to mature...not to mention to save up the money for the upgrade that's not really an upgrade. I think my opinion is clear!

My copies should be arriving today.

There will be the ability to have "similar" themes to Vista media center, with V3 themes that I'm working on. There's no need for a seperate version. If theres any remaining issues running GameEx on Vista, I should hopefully be able to fix them soon, but as far as I know it runs fine.

Got my delivery an hour ago and just discovered all the drivers are in Beta. I have the latest and supported kit. What a bag of bollocks.

EDIT: Does VISTA RTM X64 include NFORCE4, Creative X-FI and Hauppage PVR drivers??? I really don't want to install it if Media Ceter aint gonna work.

I don't use any of those so I don't know. I run it in VMWare anyways. Sorry! I probably won't fool with a real install until I get my "free" upgrade copy from my Dell purchase whenever that actually happens.

lol, I've been running vista builds since beta 1. But for some reason with a clean install of vista and a fresh install of gameex, I get an error and am unable to run it.

Tom, that stuff should auto install or at least it should with a windows update. Most of the drivers are finally moving out of beta as of today.
