Is this game able to work on Windows Xp? I get lots of slowdown, pausing and sound problems. I searched the internet and many have the same problems. I've just been unable to find a fix. Any one running this?

Been trying to see if there has been a patch or fix for xp to resolve the GFX issues etc. with no luck. I enjoi this game also and seen your UG post. wonders if this is as bad as the 2000 Gold edition for MAME? Was that an original you posted RIP etc..?

I don't know. It appears to be the full image. It includes the movies. I have Blitz99 but couldn't get it to even start. Gave me an error.

Yeah I tried all the diff. options. All game the same kind of performance. In the intial release they mentioned problems with ATI cards. (Rage Series). I'm using an ATI 9800XT. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

nah the Rage and Radeon are completely different. Hehe for one Rage's sucked. ;)

I'd still lean towards finding a decent glide wrapper to use, and giving it a spin.

Well I dled it then tried the autorun in alcohol120 and was given an error. So I installed using the Setup.exe and set to Direct 3D HAL 800x600 32 and its running flawless. Using XP MCE2k5 Radeon 9800 Pro 256

What ATI driver version are you using? No matter what resolution I use. Just as the opening Midway logo is about to fade. It slows down to a crawl.

Tho I was unable to find any fix files waiting for the dl. I would suggest installing from the main Setup.exe. Your GFX card should be fine. I hope your able to resolve this. Many thanks for the up ;)

I uninstalled and then installed from the setup.exe. No difference.

Concider using a older driver as mine was suggested for MCE not sure if that would make a diff. Its been a while since ive updated mine because i havn't had any issues.
