Exiting to the last table started in my list

Hello,

First off, I realllllly like PinballX as my frontend for the homemade VPX cabinet I built.
I've been using it for years and will never switch to another.
My question is...when I start a table, and then exit out of whatever table...75% of the time it does not return to the table, but randomly jumps somewhere else in my list of tables.
This can be frustrating, as I am in the process of going through all table and capturing screenshots and taking notes of which ones need edited...and when I exit a table, I then have to scroll back to where I left off...almost every time.
Sometimes, I return to the table I started, which is great, as I am going in alphabetical order....but most of the time, it jumps randomly somewhere else or back to the beginning of the list of tables.
Any rhyme or reason for this?  Any help is most appreciated on how to correct this issue.
