[RESOLVED] updated to 19.54

Hello All,

I updated to latest Game Ex and it crashes upon launch, Im attaching the log file. Also are there any differences in the Azahar and Xenia emulators on the site?

Please attach your gameex.ini as well when reporting an issue.

I believe that there are big differences between them based upon what they emulate -  Azahar (3DS) and Xenia (Xbox 360).

Try direct downloading the latest version of GameEx again and install over the top of current, then launch again to see if this resolves your launch issue.

This is a little concerning. The log does not show a crash. What is happening on the screen?

Ok,

It launches. But starts playing video like Ive went into Mame. I wish there was a way to record a video for you to see. I didnt  use the internal update from within Game Ex, I downloaded and installed. Here are the log and ini files. Also what I meant were what are the differences between the Azahar and Xenia builds hosted on site between these amd official releases of said emulator? On my other setup Azahar has a black screen showing but you can hear the emulatpr running. Should I get the Azahar off game ex site and try that?

i will try and take a look and test it here. No differences in the emulators I am aware of. I put them on the site for some upcoming enhancements I am working on. Only difference is they wont be so current.

Found the problem!

I went to add/remove programs to completely uninstall and reinstall. Low and behold there were 2 instances of Game Ex showing up. 19.11 and 19.54 I uninstalled 19.11 and tried to relaunch, windows said Game Ex was gone, However 19.54 was still showing up in add remove programs. I uninstalled that rebooted my computer, reinstalled Game Ex and its now working correctly. Thanx Guys

no problem. i hope you did not have to set it all up again.

it helped me identify a little theme issue which i will fix.
