I did a update of GameEX today and the attached direct input  joypads no longer function as input devices in the UI. I tried to remap them in the setup but in Gameex they are non functional. only keyboard input is working. any ideas what changed between the latest releases? joypads do function normally in emus and win.

PS: Startup time is indeed reduced! Thanks for the update

I met up with a neighbour for the first time during lockdown. He enjoyed emulation and had heard of Launchbox but had not heard of GameEx or any others. I showed him what I did and talked about the history and other front ends. He gave me a slogan.
