List of sites offering free and discounted games

Below is a list of sites offering free and discounted games. Some you will have to dig for via searches. I have found that being a member of the platforms I get email notifications of specials. Leveraging “wish lists” whenever offered also helps when special pricing goes into effect or a game that is in development is initially released. Almost all offer AAA releases.

This list is not 100% so please reply with links to any sites not listed here and I will update this post.

Good Old Games aka GoG.com – Per the site “We make games last forever. A home for building and playing your curated game collection, GOG is a digital distribution platform that puts gamers first and respects their need to own games.” Many older classic titles and new indy fare. Regular discount and free offers.

Steam – Per the site “Steam is the ultimate destination for playing, discussing, and creating games.” Free and discounted game specials all the time.

Epic Games – Seasonal and monthly free and deeply discounted game specials.

Amazon Gaming – Requires an Amazon Prime account. Redemption is via Epic Games, GoG.com, Steam, and Amazon Gaming platforms.

Humble Bundle – Per the site “Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a gaming membership service, a game publisher, and more.” Constant rotation of games, book & comic bundles with charity in mind.

Fanatical – Per the site “We're on a mission to help gamers from all over the world find amazing games at amazing prices. Fanatical lets you quickly find what you want from a selection of over 10,000 officially licensed digital games from over 1,100+ publishers.” Constant rotation of games & comic bundles. Similar to Humble Bundle in that you can choose your price for a set number of titles. Redemption of keys via Steam.
