Not sure this is possible. Have you considered running Retroarch instead?

Kega Fusion has not been updated in over 14 years and difficult to work consistently with the newer versions of Windows.

If there is a possible way to develop or compile a useful version of Kega Fusion, one that should never include on-screen messages, because on-screen messages are the annoying ones.

I have not heard of RetroArch much, that is, if RetroArch has the settings to disable the on-screen messages.

That would be a lift for the Kega Fusion author. Last I recall that program is closed source.

Likely the on-screen messages are endemic to the Kega Fusion emulator. You will need to explore RetroArch to know for certain.

Were you able to figure this out and answer your question?

First, thank you for pointing out the RetroArch functionalities, even though RetroArch has many settings to choose. Second, not only that RetroArch has many settings to choose, but it can be confusing for probably most people. I am fine with stand-alone emulators, including Kega Fusion. Yes, I can be fine with on-screen messages, but I prefer no on-screen messages, that is, if there are any settings that have it, in my experience. Yes, RetroArch needs the core components of emulators such as Gens, SNES9X, mGBA, Mesen, etc., even though RetroArch is a multi-system emulator.

Sadly, many of the standalone emulator favorites are no longer supported by the original authors and an increasing number of them are becoming incompatible with the latest iterations of Windows. I agree that RetroArch can seem a little intimidating at first, but may be the best option going forward with Windows 10/11 and beyond.
