Could Someone Give me Advice with GameEx Arcade Setup and Custom Emulators?

Hello there,

I am new to using GameEx; and I am having some trouble getting my setup exactly how I want it. I have been able to get the basic features up and running, but I am struggling with setting up custom emulators and managing the artwork for games.

I have installed a couple of emulators that are not in the default list like a Dreamcast one; but I am unsure about how to configure them in GameEx. I have followed the guides but still cannot seem to get them to launch properly through the front end. Is there a specific method I should be following when adding non standard emulators?🤔

I want to have custom box art and banners for each game in my collection; but I cannot find a reliable way to make sure the artwork matches the games. Some games are showing the wrong art; while others do not have any art at all. Is there a recommended way to manage game artwork that works consistently?

Some games seem to run slower than expected; even though I am on a fairly powerful PC. Are there any settings within GameEx (or maybe in the emulators themselves) that I should be looking at to improve performance?🤔

GameEx seems like a powerful tool; and I would love to get the most out of it for my arcade setup.

Hi there. It might be helpful to attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files - generally recommended when requesting assistance or reporting a bug.

Next, you may want to focus on one issue at a time, opening a new thread once resolved with the aforementioned files attached. 

So please pick the first issue to be addressed, attach the files, and let's begin!
