Posting this in the wrong forum, but figure somebody here has bumped into this too possibly and can point me in the right direction.  I was able to get FX3 running nicely on my 3-screen cabinet setup with PinballX.  Everything is functioning very well.  However, I'm finding that while almost all the Future Pinball and Visual Pinball tables are running fine generally, a number of the FX3 tables have quite a bit of pixelating going on, especially in the gray and red areas.  The worst ones are Marvel Ant Man, all three Alien-based ones and some of the Stars Wars tables. The Williams tables have none of these issues I don't think.  Its not all of the Marvel or Star Wars tables though.  It's really odd.  I don't see any pixelation occurring on any of the other emulators. This problem occurs whether I launch through PinballX via STEAM or directly in STEAM.

Tried a few video mod adjustments within FX3, but no luck.  Did some SLIGHT tinkering with the nVidia video, but not much.  Worried about doing something that will negatively impact many other tables to possibly fix a few.

Anybody see anything like this and figured out what's causing it? Any ideas on what to look at?

Running on an older VPCab, Windows 7, 2 video cards, 3 displays, very good performance for a system that may be >8 years old or so.  Again, it works well for the other emulators, though I'm not running VPX yet which may be closer in performance requirements to FX3 from some reading. And its a minority of the FX3 tables being affected.

Thanks, David

I've never seen it, but I think (though I'm not entirely sure) that FX3 might lower the resolution of certain tables to achieve a higher framerate.

If you're saying it's an older system and some FX3 games aren't that old, I wouldn't worry too much.

You can always contact Zen Studios and ask them the same question.

I did see that post thanks.  I'll tinker a bit more, but may just not play the tables that have the pixel issues too much. Been looking through the Zen Pinball forums too.  I did send something in through their support, we'll see what I get back.
