Credits Button Not Working (Snapcade)

I have recently Purchased a used Snap-on Snapcade. After Figuring out that the power button was broken hence how I managed to pick it up for $40 I loaded into PinballX and everything works, However, None of the games allow me to add credits or actually start the game. I have done a bit of digging in the files, and below are the troubleshooting steps I have done
1. Verified All buttons worked using the "Set up USB game controllers" Test feature All buttons Work as expected.

2. Loaded up the Settings file and Attempted to re-map the Buttons, I am able to map them but nothing changes
3. Manually adjusted the Config File for Credits = XX I cant remember the exact Number I believe it was number 3 or something 
I have tried to set up the "Keyboard Mapping" and the same thing continues to not work.
Unfortunately I am running an older version 3.xx or 4.xx version and I dont know if updating will cause the machine to brick

As you didn't provide any settings or log file (and yiu still have an old bersion) it is hard to. Say.

My assumption is that you use visual pinball as you want to add credits. Check the visual pinball keymappings and assign your credits button in there.

If you are afraid to update, make a backup of your harddrive (or make a backup/copy of your complete pinballx folder) before upgrading it.
