Hi guys - as previously mentioned, I'm doing a re-build of a cocktail cabinet where the previous PC died. I'm keeping it really simple this time - only 50 or so games, using GameEx Arcade and probably only Mame and SNES emulators.

A couple of newbie questions please - I've got the Mame games running fine on GameEx Arcade, but I can't get the SNES games to load. They're running fine in the emulator. I'm sure it's a problem with my Command line, but have tried a few options to no avail. What should it be saying? (below).

One other question, on my last build I had a specific Çocktail Games menu, where I'd specified which games would run in Cocktail mode and would screen flip. I can't work out how to do it in the latest GameEx version. Any advice please?

Thanks

I would strongly suggest opening separate threads for each issue you encounter to avoid confusion for you and us.

Also, please attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files to each so we can see your setup.

Thanks

For ZSNES try:

zsnesw.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

A good resource for popular command lines:

Thanks again for your help - that Command line worked and got the emulator and games running in GameEx. Oddly enough though, I can see the top of the Emulator screen (as if I were running the emulator in isolation). I'm sure it's a basic setting to remove it, but I couldn't find it?

It may be a full screen setting in the emulator itself. Not sure if there is a command line switch for that so you may have to "google" that setting.

Under Windows-Only switiches you will find reference to  -v # (with # corresponding to type of window or fullscreen with desired resolution). depending upon what you want to display. Not sure how it all works so you will have to experiment. Add it to the end of the command line noted previously.

Example (for 1024x768 DS FULL):  zsnesw.exe -v 20 "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"
