[RESOLVED] Most stable version of PinballX?

Installed latest Pinballx version 6.0.7

Here what is not working for me, I have a 2 screen pinball cabinet with windows 10.

-In the italian version the text part that says "Tutti" is always visible in frontend, even if i delete or change words. For example I have "Available 214 "ALL" tables

 

-The binding of keys with controller works in the setting but I cannot quit from emulators back to pinballx anymore with the associated button.

In future pinball both keyboard and controller "quit emulator" key is not working, in pinball arcade keyboard is working, controller not.

 

I'm gonna try with 6.0.0 maybe...

 

I had a version 4 from 2020 which was working perfectly fine until the update of windows 10 which installed "removal of flash player" I think that may have messed up the exe.

Ill look into the text issue. 

No idea why the exit key in future pinball does not work. Its not been reported by anyone else as far as I know. I think i would have heard. It might be on your end. Its possible gamepad exit might now work for some apps. Windows broke some stuff with DirectInput but this was some time ago.

So all you did was upgrade PinballX? Nothing else at all?

I looked into the "all" text. i cant see much wrong. I think it is cached text. Please change the table list then change it back it again.

For the exit issue I will need to see the log file and Pinballx.ini.

Ok, I'll try to send those files later. I had a working win 10 but yesterday as I told, I may have messed up something with the updates. What I did is copy my old media and databases overwriting everything.

Installing pinballx from old to newer version would not break database files and media.

Just follow the instructions from yhe manual and you are good.

If I have time, I will test your issues on my cabinet as well.

 

Did you upgrade FP as well ? As Terry did a lot of changes on fp as well.

Well, actually not, because I had working cabinet with PA, FX3 and future pinball and pinballx ver 4. But these days i'm trying to setup an all visual pinball 10 and future pinball cabinet so I've messed up with updates again

FP version that i have : 1.9.2008.1225

Planning to format the pc and make all fresh with updates.

I've managed to install 22h2 correctly and reinstalled future pinball, now everything works fine again! Didn't want to switch to pinup popper since pinballx as touch play I think is great and operative in my 2 cabinets for long...

Just to confirm on the cached 'all'/ text please switch from one list list to another within PinballX see if that helps.
