lingpanda
Anyone have this game? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melty_BloodI'm looking to set this up with GameEx. I notice it seems to only support joysticks. As I have an I-Pac this is my first issue. Another thing is the small config screen that comes up when its started. I guess I'll need a wrapper or script to get it to load. Baby steps.
Will
Well there goes the award for weirdest game name....Even so....after reading the entry for it, I have decided now I must have it Keep me updated lingpanda, cause I also use an IPAC.According to a website I won't mention that has it for download, the default setup is for keyboard using the normal directional keys and "n" "m" and "," for weak medium and strong attacks. So you should be okay. Good luck with the japanese menus though.

But the menus are not very hard to get around.
Adultery
DL'ing the torrent right now. Perhaps we can figure this out together... my iPAC and I have been down for a while and no amount of melty blood's gonna stop me from running this on the cab. lingpanda
DL'ing the torrent right now. Perhaps we can figure this out together... my iPAC and I have been down for a while and no amount of melty blood's gonna stop me from running this on the cab. Ok Ive made alot of progress. I'm able to re-map my I-PAC to the proper keyboard keys. So now I'm able to start and play the game. The only thing left is to script the menu that comes up before the game starts. I found and english patch that converts many of the in game text to english. It also seemed to change the char select screen a bit. I think I might just stick with the orginal. lingpanda
Ok, now I have it fully working. No need for a script or anything. You can bypass the menu by using the send keys option.(Duh) Since the menu remembers your last config. I just use the ~ for send keys. Wait time 500. Works perfect now. For those without and I-PAC and maybe use a keyboard hack. You can use PPJoyKey to remap and use a virual joystick.

shadowlancer
You are welcome. And if your are worried about the japanese menu, there is an english patch out for the menu and the initial configuration screen. The transations are done by revolve translations you can get the patch here: http://www.revolve-trans.org/melty_blood.html.I'm not sure if the patch works for React-final tuned since i haven't tried it on react because i can read the menus . but if you want to know here is my translation of the menus:1. Storyline mode( the reason i got the game but is not a whole lot of fun if you know nothing of japanese).2. Arcade mode( this mode have some storyline elements but they normally don't exceeds a few lines of moonspeak).3. Versus mode(self explanatory, vs against human or bots)4. Training mode( practise your combos here, press F5 during a match to open up the training menu to set up AI, unlimited speacials and such)5. Option mode( set difficulty , volume and such here)6. Exit game. And for those of you who are interested there is a patch for unlocking all the boss characters in melty blood get it here at : http://www.geocities.com/lord_phr0zen/bloo...d/downloads.htmBTW for those of you who care you can download Melty blood mangas at the site i just mentioned if you want to know what the hell the characters are talking about in the storyline mode.Lastly there is a online mode patch for those of you interested in online play with melty blood. get it in my attachment. Although you need a good conection to experience smooth play, keep in mind that this is only a beta patch. And finally-Happy new year everyone!MBR_NET_B2_Release.zip
