first of all, i'd like to say hello to all my people who helped me along the way and that i became quite fond of.... you know who you are. that's right, katuuuz is back and for once i'm not ready to jump out the 3rd story window with a technical issue. the arcade's running smoothly, and i still havn't gotten myself to mount the marquee and bezzle and take some flicks for you arcading warriors over here. i just play with the marquee slot wide open and the tv totally in view like a ghetto ass cabinet. i will do so though, for i finally have been able to dedicate a whole room to games... (arcade, 360, wii, etc).

i was looking on the net for a place that sells arcade posters. (any games really, but i'm speaking of original flyers). basically any game you choose, look at it's flyer, and that will do. is there anywhere to get a hold of these puppies? it would totally set off the feel of the room. i remember seeing a site that had some... i "think". so i can't find it, and figured to check with my all time troubleshooters for you've helped me with everything else involving my 'cade. thanks again to the best community on the net, gaming or not...

Hey katuuuz

Nice to see you back on the forums!

I'm not sure about posters or anything like that (might be worth asking on BYOAC's graphics forum), but I do of Arcade Art. Alot of stuff on Arcade Art is made in vector format meaning you can size it as much as you want without losing quality. If you find some nice vector art on there you can take it to a printer and get it printed poster size. Then find a company that will block mount it for you. It ends up quite expensive but there is no expense when it comes to love!

thanks for the feedback.

i'm actually looking for the actual flyers... like the posters that used to hang in arcades that advertise the game. i'm bidding on a 30 pack on ebay but it's only the 1970's era. i'd love to have some 80's/early 90's style flyers.

Agreed. They were extremely helpful in finding hardware when I built my cab. I'm sure they'll show you the same amount of kindness they showed me. :)
