[RESOLVED] Remove "Genres" main menu

Hi 🙂

Know its been asked about earlier by me and another one, here on the forum. At that time it was not possible to disable/hide the "genres" in main menu of the gameex arcade edition. But I read now that later on in was implemented in a newer release. I have installed the latest release but I still cant find that option in the wizard. Is it located in a .ini file? Or was that added option removed later on?

Thanks for finding that elusive reference! This is done via modification of the gameex.ini file:

- Open your gameex.ini file in a text editor (Suggestion: Notepad++ works best, especially for editing xml and html formatted files. And it's FREE!)

- Find the [General] section

-add a line ShowGenres=False

- Save the file then launch
