Game Extender Privacy

I love the concept of Game Extender. I would like to share my game screens with just my own friends though on my own password locked webspace. I also don't want them to have to search through everyone else's published pictures.

Is there any way to publish the images onto my own webspace?

Yeah, its already planned. Yourll be able to add a live banner image on forum signatures and such too. Not too sure about the privacy, but this will make a way to post on webspace for registered users. I just need to work out the details.

I don't see any issues with privacy myself. Even the screenies of the desktop are impossible to make out anything. Heh unless you have a big pic of a naked girl or something. But I believe you've removed the screenshot when at the desktop anyways.

Yeah, I've shown off Mad Donna to a couple of friends and didn't quite realize at first that what I was playing was showing up on your site. Game Extender, part of Gameex when downloaded, is turned on automatically. I wouldn't mind showing my friends things like this, but in terms of your site, you may not want it there.

There was an incident where there was a rather rude picture posted on GameEx Live when it first came out. We all had a bit of a laugh about it. I believe Tom has updated Extender so it won't post anything from the desktop.

I think it was me that first saw the picture and reported it. It was something like somebody was watching a porno through their GameEx media player. In theory, the extender should only be used when it's in a game running mode rather than just "anytime GameEx runs". I also think the name of the function should be changed to something else, like "GameEx Previewer" rather than Extender. Extender is too closely resembling an X-Box extender, in which case people are led to believe they can play games through GameEx on their X-Box via the "extender" which doesn't exist.

Again, play the game MAD DONNA under MAME. Beat a level. Then beat another level. It's not my desktop you're seeing. It's the game. You'll know what this means once you've played Mad Donna.
