Theme required - 1 game per screen

I would like to create a MAME only cabinet with one game per screen* (*preferred) or menu of say 9 games (like iCade, etc) so easy to scroll throw a minimum number of MAME only games (without a menu).  Has anyonbe got any suggestions of a theme that does this (I cannot find one), I've even had a go myself but to no avail.

Hi there, LTNS! I do not think it is possible with the way that GameEx and GameEx Arcade Edition are hard coded to achieve what you are looking for.

The closest thing I can  see within the current coding is using Game Launcher - MAME mode which gives you the "wheel" list with whatever ROMS you have installed for MAME. Coupled with the theme videos it looks pretty slick IMO.

Otherwise you may need to create an entry within the Feature & Enhancement Requests thread:

thanks.  how do i enable MAME mode i cannot seem to find this option.

Look for it under Display Settings within the Setup Wizard.

ignore that i upgraded and its there, although doesnt show my selected mame roms for some reason -

It does work, but there is still an issue with selecting Game Launcher - MAME as it loads all emulators setup in addition to the MAME listings. My understanding is that the setting should display a menu for MAME only.

I was able to page through each emulator and then into the MAME menu categories (All, Spinner, Multiplayer, etc.)

To page into each, I pressed Windows+ALT. See if that works for you in the interim and you may also want to attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files just in case Tom may need them to review.
