changing text lang, wont change in gameex

i'am try to rename or/and change names & delete stuff in the text/lang part of the adv cfg section i save it says in there , but the changes wont be changed in gameex, why? i'am using a different theme then the gameex one could this be why? its the NexGen theme..please let me know thanks!
