Hi all. I cant get Sega CD to work at all in Game EX. Been playing with this for hours now. Works fine outside in fusion but when I create my paths and try to boot a game I just get the sega cd load disc screen. Read some of the other threads on this, tried the fixes but no dice. Im sure Im missing something simple but cant figure it out. What should the command line be and what settings for rom filters? All games are in bin/cue format and all files are in their own game folders. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Please attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt when reporting an issue or requesting assistance.

You will also want to review this thread for command lines:

I will note that I do not run this emulator so spitballing. Have you tried changing the command line? Per your gameex.ini:

emu_7_command=Fusion.exe -scd -fullscreen

[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]

Try changing it to read: Fusion.exe -scd -fullscreen "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

Hopefully someone else will chime in with a possible solution.

Not giving up, just not in a position to dig through the forum for similar issues and their solutions.

So I finally figured out the issue and it was very simple. In advanced emulator settings for sega CD "use folder names" was defaulted to no. Once I switched it to "yes" it fired fight up. Rom filter is set at *.CUE only and path is Fusion.exe -scd -Fullscreen "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

Hopefully this helps someone else that gets stuck on this one
