I see that some rom are hidden in custom folder. I make many and many test but I don`t find the bug.

I watch the file with VIM, I see the permission of file, I see the rom and other.

Test it. If you create a file: test.ini in the custom folder. Refresh the list. The test menu it`s empty.

I have this problem with many roms.

[FOLDER_SETTINGS]
RootFolderIcon = cust1.ico
SubFolderIcon = cust2.ico

[ROOT_FOLDER]
1941

Please attach your gameex.ini file when reporting an issue.

Also, can you clarify exactly what the issue is that you are claiming is a bug? Thanks.

Make a simple test for me on your system:

Create a file name "test.ini" and put in the UI mame folder (for custom menu).

Put in this file:

[FOLDER_SETTINGS]
RootFolderIcon = cust1.ico
SubFolderIcon = cust2.ico

[ROOT_FOLDER]
1941

Refresh the game list. When restart a gameex you see the menu "test" but it's empty.

I  think I will need to defer this one to Tom as I am either still not understanding what you are attempting to do and if what you are doing is outside of the scope of what GameEx Arcade Edition's functionality - which would make this not a bug but a possible Feature request.

@Tom Speirstag! Your'e it!

No wait.

The system provides the possibility to create menus by categories. "SetupWizard" entry "custom lists path". Here you put the .ini files that contain the roms. If you create a file as I wrote above you should see the new entry with the 1941 rom. The new entry is created but empty.

Thanks for the explanation, however, I do not have the means to test to see if I can replicate your results, hence why I am bringing to Tom's attention as he may have further guidance for you to make this work.
