Ok, I've had this problem for a while: When I enter the video section, my list shows duplicate entries for about 1/5 of my videos. At first I thought it had something to do with my videos being on a networked drive, but I've almost finished my new computer and have transfered the majority of the videos to the c drive. It's still the same. Different duplicates every time the list is refreshed. Any ideas?

That's strange.

How do these duplicate relates to the folders your videos are in and GameEx allows you to navigate? What paths do you have setup in the list?

Latest version of .net?

All videos are in one folder at c:\videos\music. They used to be on a mapped drive at z:\videos\music. GameEx only has one path, so there shouldn't be any duplicates because of that. I do have the newest version of .net. I have 516 music videos in that folder, but around 590-600 show up in the list. I am really confused.

I am not at all sure. Could you run all versions of a duplicate and post the log?

Have you ruled out corruption etc. You say the duplicates are different each time? You cant tie it down to certain files, and then analyze the file names etc?

Alrighty....... So, I didn't figure it out until I saw the log... GameEx was creating a duplicate entry for all videos with the .mpeg class. I changed all of them to .mpg and all is well. Sorry to worry you. I guess it was duplicating the same files every time. <_< Thanks anyhoo!

Oh, while we're on the subject... Would it posisble to recognize .m2v extensions in the video list?

Thanks,

Matt
