[RESOLVED] Pinballx on settings /GameEx Online userid and Password does not stick

Hello, I'm a newbie, so my question is:

Configuring pinballX to download online media I tried to configure GameEx online  on the Settings.exe to download media from the Game Manager.

I assume to use the same user id(email) and password from this forum.

Horever after I entered UserID and Password various times, gives me a sound of error, and when i change section inside the Settings, the userid and the passowrd are not saved, they do not "stick" in the field,

What Am I missing?

After you fill in the field, did you hit next ?

Also try to launch pinballX once before you start game list manager.

You can also try Databasemanager,  it will check password as well

Did you properly install PinballX or copy from another machine?

@Tom Speirs I Installed properly using de default instalation directory. The curious thing is that in the pinball database manager, the user id and passowed worked.

Not sure if it is resolved. DBM uses different regkeys for uid and pw. 

I only mentioned it, tocheck if the credentials where ok.

In the setup wizard did you click next after entering?

Can you provide the PinballX log file too please.

In the Pinball Setup WIzard I entered in the tab "GameEx Online" the userID and password and hit "next" and when I return to the "GameEx Online" Tab User Id and Password vanished. Is there a way to put the user ID and the password directly in the pinbalx.ini? Attached Logs and pinballx.ini

password isn't saved in the pinballx.ini, but stored in registry.

When Reg key HKCU\Software\PinballX does not exists, the reg key will not be created and UID and PW are not stored.
If this key is created manually, the settings will be stored.
When will this reg key be created ? During install ?

@biffiam I attached a small reg file, if you double click this, it will create the reg key for pinballX.
(if you know hoe to make it manually, it is fine as well) 
After creating this, launch settings.exe and you can fill in the UID and PW, clicking on next and back will show your login name and able to use it within PinballX and game list manager

Looks like I made a mistake and its not being created. Fixed in next release. Shortly.

I didnt do anything. Tom fixed it in code.
