Trackball help

Hello,

I just recently upgraded my mame cab, I had game ex installed, not sure what version but its at least 10 yrs old.  I just installed version 18.11, I enabled trackball support in the settings but it doesn't work in games like golden tee.  In my previous version it worked.  Im not sure what I need to do.  On a side note, I wanted to donate the $20 mentioned on the splash screen but when I select option 1 it tells me page cannot be found.

When reporting an issue please attach copies (no copy and paste) of your gameex.ini and log.txt files for review. This may be something simple but we need these files to start. Thanks!

I have 2 folders, a GameEx and a GameEx Arcade edition, here are the files from both

What version of MAME are you running?

Did you hit Tab on your keyboard when launching Golden Tee and modify your inputs to use the trackball?

I hit tab and there is no trackball option when I select up and try to modify the input nothing happens when I roll the track ball up

As there are many versions of Golden Tee, can you provide the common and ROM names?

Is the issue impacting all trackball games?

Also, are you going into the Input (general) or Input (this Machine) settings?

Under (this Machine) there are settings for Track X Analog , Track Y Analog, etc.

Unfortunately the whole system stopped working and I have no idea why which is why I never responded I apologize, the games were working fine, they still show up but when I select play this game the screen goes blank and then comes back to the play this game screen

I even uninstalled and reinstalled no luck

There have been several revisions since you last reported the issue. Can you upgrade to the latest version of GameEx/Arcade Edition and provide the respective gameex.ini and log.txt files once again when the issue occurs? Note the last game attempted and if the error is occurring for all games as well please. Thanks.
