Upgrading games on hard drive. I'm new to all of this please bear with me.

I purchased my pinball machine used and it's running a much older version of software along with missing some of the tables that are out there. It's running pinball X version 2.03 so is there a way that I can update it and still keep operating like it is or will everything need to be reconfigured?  Thanks for your help. Bill

Chechk the download section, there is a manual for pbx. 

I should always backup the pinballx folder and do an upgrade

Lol.
Thats why you need to make a backup. If you mess it up, you can always revert back.
