Gameex minimize on video

I was having hardware problems with my old system, so I put a new one together, but now when I go the mame games, as soon as you go to one that has a video, it will minimize. If you open it up again it will minimize right way. The only way to get out of that is to end the task in task manager.

What could be the problem? I thought I saw someone on here with this problem before but I cant find it now.

What codecs you have installed? Do they play fine outside of gameex? What is the file ext. of the video? Can you post log files of gameex?

Yes thank you. I installed regular divx this time around instead of ffdshow. Something in the divx bundle was causing the problem. Its all fixed now. Thanks for the help

I knew I saw it somewhere! I was looking through all the posts and couldnt find it! I guess I should have looked in the FAQ first.
