Logitech F310 gamepad not recognized in epsxe but works in other emulators

I am unable to get my Logitech F310 gamepad to work  with Epsxe  any ideas.

Is the controller issue occurring via Epsxe when launching outside of GameEx? If same outside of GameEx then you will need to search using "epsxe logitech f310" as your keywords to search. 

Maybe start with the suggestions here to load the gamepad in dinput mode instead of xinput:
