I posted in the uploads section, but since no one really looks there I'm posting again here. Plus, it's better to make a thread so the uploads board doesn't get cluttered with comments / complaints / suggestions, right? ;) I'd love to hear some opinions... :)

Thanks! :)

I'm taking a course in photoshop and I was practicing some new techniques. The sounds in the theme are from Breath of Fire III from the Playstation. Now if I could just figure out that whole selector bar thing... :D

The selector is simple enough to make,

You really just need 3 layers in photoshop, the bottom layer has the unhighlighted selector (Selected1.png), the middle layer has the highlighted image (Selected15.png), then top layer has the black pixels which make up the corners:

Then select a good blending option for the middle highlighted layer, and steadily increase the opacity 15 times (saving a new png as you go) from 0% up to whatever to get the animated effect.

(It helps to get a calculator for this, because you need 15 images, you need to know what percentage to increase the opactity for each one).

Hope i made sense, iv'e just woken up :)

This is awesome!

My only suggestion (take or leave) is to change the two rightmost boxes (Game Info and Menu) to match the sea gradient behind the hottie. But that's my 2-bits.

Still looks awesome, can't wait to try it out!

Believe it or not, I was just working on that exact thing! I was also gonna tinker around with a GameEx toolbar too. But it wasn't real high priority since I'm still attached to the Valhalla theme. I just made this theme to play around in Photoshop since my classes just started last month. I will put out a version 2 though... Just a matter of when really. I'm sure you know how it is when you got 100,000 projects going on at once I'm sure. :)
