GameEx Cabinet Artwork Not Loading

Hi all, having a weird issue that i'm hoping someone might have the answer too.

I have gamex installed, and working well with mame. The gamelist is updated, artwork downloaded and working well EXCEPT for the cabinets, they just show as a donkey kong cabinet for all the games. 

The artwork folder has lots of cabinet images in there ready to be used, the path is correct, the file names are flawless.

Could be a path issue. Can you attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files, please? Thank you!

I think you may be getting confused with what is being displayed. The donkey kong cabinet is a theme logo that shows on dynamic themes for MAME,
