Hello there, I was wondering if there is a way to see the actual zip file name of a specific romset.

I mean. If  open a search  for "Wonderboy" I receive a list of games concerning "Wonderboy" and his clones. about these games I can see the specific rom set version in the brackets  but I can't see the actual file name of the zip in question.

Is there a way to see it?

thanks

thanks for the answer. I do think that a feature like that would be quite helpful.

I really hope this could be considered for next versions of the frontend.

thanks again

Coming back on topic, I'm wondering if it is possible to see the actual rom name. I mean. In gameEx you find: DOUBLE DRAGON [US SET 1]. the romset of this game is DDRAGONU. is there a way to read the actual rom set of the selected game?

Thanks

Only by loading MAME from an emulator slot and not the integrated MAME setup would this be possible.

Unless someone else answers first it may be a few days before I can get to my rig and work out the steps for you as I prefer the integrated setup.

Start here but instead of downloading MAME, point to your installed mame.exe and note the paths where you have the assets, ROMS, etc. installed. Let us know how you get on.
