I'd really love to get this program working and make a donation to unlock all the features. Most of the time it will load, but occasionally it won't and I get an error, I'll post the error log. Also if it does load, when I try to launch a mame game, screen goes blank and goes right back to gameex. I've spent hours reading the FAQ's and trying all the suggestions I can find that were already posted, but I just can't get it to work - turned off bezel, just updated video driver... Any help is appreciated

Japoolspa, does your MAME setup work outside of GameEx?

Which version of MAME do you use?

If you want to use the bezels, go to your GameEx CONFIG folder and open gameex.ini and scroll down to the INTERNAL section. Check if BezelVersion is 2.

What ver. of Direct X you using? Might need an update.

Thanks for trying to help out. My responses to all the replies so far:

I found similar situations and have already tried 16 bit graphics and turned of advanced graphics

Bezelversion is 2 - I've tried don't use bezels

Yes, my mame works great outside of GameEx

Mame version is Mame32

DirectX version is 9.0

I've tried many configurations, reinstalled and tried to start from scratch a few times. Strange how the program will start sometimes and sometimes won't start and gives me the error log. On time the error log was a bit different - I'll post it below. I'm going to do a search on this error 5...
