If I want to upgrade gameEx  AE from version 1.0  all I need to do is download the newest version and run the setup and I will not loose any of my settings for all the emulators?  I would just hate to loose all that work and start over.

Over the top installations have yet to fail me.

I always recommend that you make a backup of your gameex.ini file to a separate place, but you already do backups of your important data, right? B)
