[RESOLVED] No more video preview in frontend ...

Hi, i have no more video preview in front end when scrolling games  ...! i have artworks download via EMUMOVIE and working before, all files is there  ..! ... how can i fix that ?

Normally i have the video playing (witch sound) there (Preview of the game) and a cabinet in the lower right corner

Have you verified that your avi snap and other media paths in your MAME settings are pointed to the correct location for your media that is not displayed correctly?

Yes and it’s weird as I have delete all artworks .. when he start redownload I start seeing image added and icon ans cabinet but after he finish I have no more image and cabinet .. the only way to see it is to click on the game and go to cabinet .. but nothing while scrolling game

It’s like when video is available (downloaded) I see nothing, really weird ... 3 days on this problem ... I think I will give 20$ to the person who find my problem lolll

I just uninstall gameex and delete all files ... reinstall ... now it’s downloading artworks ... start seeing some artworks ... will see when the 30gb of artworks finish download he still working ...

A bit draconian approach and not what I would have suggested. Please attach new copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files once completed if the issue persists.

New files please. The ones in your third post are the originals. I want to see the files from your after your reinstall and after you encountered the original issue reported. Thank you.

now it's almost ok … the only problem is ...when I choose a game ex. Killer Instinct … from the scrolling frontend I have the right video playing on the background …! but after I click on the game to enter in the submenu … I see the DoubleDragon video (for all the game is always this video) instead of the video of the game selected …!!

Can you capture a video of what you are describing? Having a hard time visualizing what you are describing.

when entering in Killer Instinc Sub menu ... the background video playing is not the Killer instinct one ... he play a file called 4x3.mp4 located in  GameEx Arcade Edition\MEDIA\DOWNLOADED ARTWORK\MAME\VIDEO_BACKGROUND instead of kinst.mp4

Even if the file kinst.mp4 is in the directory GameEx Arcade Edition\MEDIA\DOWNLOADED ARTWORK\MAME\VIDEO_BACKGROUND

 

this is the Same for all game ... in sub menu only file 4x3.mp4 play in background instead of the selected game

so @Draco1962 i fix my problem with your Theme i'm happy now ...! My only problem left is with Daphne ..! first time i start GameEx i'm able to play a Daphne game ... after i need to close GameEx and restart it to be able to play a second Daphne game

Glad you got the initial issue resolved!

Please start a new thread for any issues with DAPHNE and attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files from after the error occurring.
