Upgraded to 7.01- No Categories?

Hey guys- just upgraded to the latest version- but there's no categories on my Mame roms showing. Im using .109. I have rebuilt the list 3 times now, and GameEx still isn't showing the categories for the ROMs. How do I fix this?

Also- how do I access the menu that allows me to add a game to the favorites list???

Did you download GameEx 7.01 from the website or via the built in automatic downloader? You need to directly download it cause there are issues with the automatic one.

It sounds like your download is corrupted. Like the categories file is either missing, or goobered up some how. I recommend trying a fresh download.

No, it was a direct download from this site. Any other ideas? I don't want to have to reinstall- it took FOREVER the first time around...

Completely strip it out (add/remove) and then try a fresh install.
