GameEx & Microsoft NET Framework 2.0 Issues

I have uninstalled Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 and installed v.2.0.

GameEx will not start even though it says GameEx should be good to go with v.2.0 of Microsoft NET Framework.

What gives?

Grab the c:\program files\gameex\logs\log.txt file and post it in here

It should contain a clue...or its at least the first place to start looking

I thought you had to have 1.1 AND 2.0 installed for GameEx to run properly?

Didn't someone say it looks for both but only really uses 2.0?

Well, there is no log file to copy since it never runs GameEx.

That message is pretty much giving it to you straight. You need .NET 2.0 AND .NET 1.1 installed to run GameEx. Might as well have both, it certanly dosn't hurt. But make sure you do a Windows update after you install .NET 1.1 to check for any necessary security patches/updates.

On my machine, I have 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0. I've yet to encounter any problems.

Reinstalled Microsoft NET Framework v1.1 (and updated security fixes too) and all is okay again.
