Though question. Depends on the backglass box you have.

I have a 2 screen with real dmd. My backglass is 28" and was the almost the max I could use.

But I see some that put the backglass in portrait mode to put a backglass and dmd on it.

Sorry, clarification... backglass "image size" for a 2 screen setup that has the speakers shown in the graphic.  3 screen backglass would be 1920x1080... 2 screen backglass image size would be...? 1920x...?

Ah sorry.

Not sure what you exactly want for size,

The total size minus grill size ?

So you only keep the backglass size left ?

I think you must ask Stat, Hirez00 or Outhere. They make a lot of backglasses, but not sure if they use this forum a lot

I need sleep. OK, the overall rastor size is 1920x1080, but how does that breakdown from artwork to grill? What is the grill footprint dimension? Is it a standard size or do grill sizes vary from backglass to backglass? I am trying to figure out the "standard" placement for the DMD in a 2 screen setup that has the grill showing. Thanks.

I only recommend the 2 monitor setup on mini-pinballs, where you normally put a 16/9 24 "or 26" monitor like Playfield and a 4/3 monitor as a backglass showing the B2S with its speaker panel and DMD on modern tables.

But for a Standart size Pinball, with Playfield from 40 "to 43", I recommend using 3 monitors, the second is from 27 "to 32" FHD for the Backglass and the third screen for DMD there are 3 options, DMD Real, DMD monitor Widescreen 4/1, DMD 15 "or 17" normal monitor in 4/3 or 16/9 leaving all visible or only a part and hiding the rest.

If there were 4/3 27 "or 29" monitors they would be ideal for both 2 and 3 monitors, but there aren't.

If you put a 16/9 monitor in for a two-screen setup, when looking at new tables with a speaker panel included, it looks very squashed and I don't like it at all.
