bushav
Hey Guys, With Tom's new UltraDMD/XDMD installer I noticed that now the XDMX files are located within the UltraDMD folder that is created. Can I safely delete the XDMD folder that seems to have the same files? The new UltraDMD folder was created in my C: directory while the old XDMD folder is in my C:VisualPinball folder. Seems to be a duplication of files after the new installer was used, probably because I previously installed XDMD in my Visual Pinball folder while I let Tom's new installer create it's folder in the C drive dirctory. scutters
I manually copied the files from https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=26602&p=455650 over the top of the existing files in the VP folder and ran ultradmd -I rather than running the udmd installer. My guess is you'll be safe to delete the visual pinball\xdmd folder, but to be safe i'd just rename it for a while and see if anything breaks before deleting. Tom Speirs
Yes, should be totally safe because it looks where the UltraDMD COM component is registered, but rename and test first if you like. Although if you installed VP (UltraDMD is often included) after or do so later then that will be where it is registered. The latest version should hopefully be included in all VP installs by now.
