Finding roms in folders

I set up an emulator, but it is not finding the roms in the seperate folders, even when that option is checked. Can anyone confirm this option is working? Using v7.01

Yep, that feature has never worked. So for now you have to extract your ROMs out of your folders.

Is anybody else getting tired of seeing these threads about ROMS IN FOLDERS? I mean, it's not that hard to do a search, but it's apparently a major issue with new users. I think TOM should take that option out of the configurator so it doesn't confuse people, then just add it back in if/when he makes that option work.

Sorry to revive this to the top, but maybe it works for some (tom at least!) but with differing systems across the board it's never been final as a feature by the looks of it.

No, its my bad, it doesn't work, I've just stapled a post-it to my head to remind me to remove the option.

Hey Tom! I'm glad I'm seeing a lot of my suggestions being taken seriously. I didn't necessarily mean to bash you or your work. It just seems logical to remove an option that doesn't work. Hopefully it will resolve a frequent issue that's posted in the forums.
