Steam Games List Playable on arcade cabinets

Hey guys,

I was searching for steam games playable on arcade cabinets but i did not find many lists about it. So i started with testing of games i have in my steam account and adding them to a curated list on steam for the ones that do work grouped by genre. I have 2 zero delay usb joystick encoder sticks so the encoders emulate a generic joystick and not a keyboard. if you also got encoders that acts like a joystick you can setup steam to emulate a XBox 360 controller based on your controller. Basically games ran through steam will think you arcade joysticks are xbox 360 controllers. Unfortunatly i don't think this works for encoders that act as a keyboard. I also started creating little video reviews for the games playable like this on an arcade cabinet, my aim is to create a video for each game i added to the curated list already showing gameplay but also showing potential config screens etc so you have an idea how many buttons might be needed to play the games.

to start steam games you basically just need the game ID which you can find on steamdb site and then you start steam games like this:

i eventually did not use gameex for my arcade cabinet but i'm sure it's possible to create a list of games with the gameid and game name to display and run from gameex itselve also

I only encountered a handfull games, all from same developper that had issues with this (notably dot emu games for example double dragon trilogy) but the same issues exists on a real xb360 controller also for those games so it's more a problem of the games then it has todo with this xbox 360 controller emulation
