help daphne without mouse

maybe you've already talked about it, but how do I start daphne without the mouse?
With the mouse connected, everything works, if I remove it, daphne does not start returning me error Video initialization failed!

You say that it works with a mouse and without a mouse it does not. Is the behavior you initially described occurring when directly launching a game through DAPHNE outside of GameEx?

Also, if DAPHNE is requiring a mouse, I never had an issue with my X-Arcade Tankstick as it has a trackball (encoding for mouse, obviously).

Likely the reason we have not encountered this issue is because most cabinet users have a wired or wireless keyboard and mouse for those times they need to fix, maintain or modify something and use inexpensive wireless keyboards and mice.

This is also extremely helpful for cabinets that are not network connected to allow control over what updates are applied after getting their desired configs and no easy means of maintenance via remote desktop access solutions.

This is a known issue with Daphne.  Not sure if it ever got fixed. I remember it from over a decade ago.
