Hi everyone,

I'm working through a new build and I am having some issues. I have installed the 64 bit version of GameEx with Windows 10 and I have the LED blinky software working well at this point.

I am trying to download the servostik plugin, for some reason it will not populate in the plugins section of the setup wizard. I have manually downloaded the plugin and dropped it into the LED blinky folder and I still have nothing. The sticks work fine with the ultimarc test program. I had no issues getting the plugin with the 32 bit version of GameEx (my Joys still didn't switch).

The only way to get the LED blinky software working consistently was to install the 64 bit version of everything.

Any ideas about the ServoStik plugin would be greatly appreciated!

You will have to use the 32 bit version of GameEx for the majority of plugins available. There should be no issue using 32 bit LedBlinkey but if so it is actively supported.

Cheers.

Hi Tom.

I was having a very difficult time with LED blinkie with 32 bit gameEx. It worked outside of GameX with 32-bit while using any of the config functions.

Sometimes after a reboot of the system, LED blinky would function. More often than not it would not. If it did function, and I left GameX and went back in, it would not function.....Arzoo suggested a change to 64-bit and now LED blinky functions every single time. I will gladly switch back to 32-bit if you have any suggestions.

I hear you but it is what it is and most of the existing plugins don't support 64 bit at this time. I would offer support on LedBlinky but I don't know much about it. Sorry. There is no reason I am aware of why 32 bit would cause an issue unless there is a memory leak in the plugin or GameEx. Its been 32 bit for over a decade. The 64 bit version was just released.

PS: There will be support for 32 bit plugins in 64 bit GameEx soon. I have already implemented this for PinballX. No quick fix right now though.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for your reply. I ended up sticking with the 64 bit GameEx. The only way I could get the ServoStiks to respond in GameEx was to buy the full version of LedBlinky, which allowed me to check the box that activates the ServoStik.

All is well now.

John
