Help with mame on retroarch with gameex

Hi, I need help with setting up mame on retroarch with gameex.  On game setting in gameex I put :

Mame Path:C:\Users\wilso\AppData\Roaming\RetroArch

Mame exe: retroarch.exe -L "C:\Users\wilso\AppData\Roaming\RetroArch\cores\mame_libretro.dll" "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

mame does not show up on gameex.

Is there any update on this issue being resolve.

How you are attempting to run this cannot be resolved. You are attempting to run MAME via Retroarch via the integrated MAME support - this will not work as it is optiimised for use with official MAME builds only. You will need to set it up within one of the available emulator slots.

As I do not run MAME via Retroarch, I am afraid I cannot be of help in standing it up via one of the emulator slots. Perhaps someone that has MAME setup in that manner can assist.

The only reason Why I run mame via retroarch is because of its amazing crt shaders that make's mame look like a crt tv or crt arcade monitor. Mame standalone HLSL setting is garbage compare to this. I don't like retroarch UI because it does not organize games as neatly as gameex and the screenshot pictures of games is too small.
