[RESOLVED] GameEx Arcade crashes frequently

I needed to rebuild my system recently, and had to start from scratch on installing a fresh copy of GameEx Arcade along with all game files, movies, themes, etc.

Everything worked previously, however this time the front end starts but then freezes when it's indexing the game lists (...the alert box with "Update List?" appears, and once selected everything freezes).

I'm sure this is something correctable since when I first started to connect all the associated directories for MAME, etc., I would spot check and things were stable/working. 

I would like not to re-install if possible .. but any help or suggestions on this would be great. Log attached if needed. Thx again.

Can you also attach your gameex.ini file? Thanks.

P.S. Reviewed the log file briefly and you are using v16.38. Please download and install v16.41 over the top of  your current installation and attach new log.txt and gameex.ini files.

Are you actually using MAME? Did you update version or something? I can see you have a bad Zinc config.

I also see your using an unusual version of MAME.exe

Thanks so much for the replies  .. after updating to v16.41, I went through my MAME directories once more. The video snap files must have not copied correctly because all of them were corrupt (...a Windows error occurred if played). When I replaced them with a fresh set, GameEx finally stopped freezing and completed its list update. And thanks for the heads up on Zinc, I properly fixed that as well with the correct config. 

Everything appears to be working again (fingers crossed)..
