espxe contoll issues

Has anyone had this problem?

I have set up espxe to run within gameex,

when I remap my controlls to use the alt key as one of the controller keys it causes the espxe emulator to pause.

Does anyone know a way around this issue without having to remap all my other emulators to get around this?
