Split Screen / Cocktail for Games

Hi there,

 

I've been slowly getting my cabinet build sorted and I'm almost near the end of it. But I needed to some help figuring out if it's possible to put all the game on split screen/cocktail mode? I'm running both mame/snes/n64 emulators and can't seem to find an option to do it.

Does anyone know a good solution? 

I've tried changing the display mode to cocktail but while the menu seems to be in cocktail mode the game starts up normally. Have I missed something?

some arcade games in mame can do this. its in the rom settings . some actually flip for player 2 and the ones that don't it splits the screen to both sides. in the game hit the tab key and go into video options

Plus You have to run each game and set it individually because it's part of the game ROM instructions, and not a scripting thing. It's hard-coded into the ROM.
